Through careful planning and execution, we were able to deliver a solution that exceeded the client’s expectations and improved their overall productivity.
Maxim Logistics is a large warehousing and logistics company with multiple large warehouse facilities. They were experiencing connectivity issues throughout the warehouses, as well as in the office and outdoor areas. This was causing problems with their inventory management systems and other important business operations.
The main objective of this project was to improve the connectivity throughout two of the warehouses, including office, and outdoor areas, and provide reliable and fast wireless access for the company’s employees, scanners and mobile devices.
To achieve this goal, we worked with the client to design and install new wireless access points (WAPs) throughout the two warehouses and surrounding areas. We placed WAPs in strategic locations to ensure full coverage of the entire warehouse and office areas. We also installed outdoor WAPs to provide coverage in the loading and unloading areas.
To ensure that the WAPs were properly configured and optimised for the client’s network, we conducted a site survey to identify potential interference and other issues that could impact the performance of the WAPs. We also performed a wireless heatmap to determine the best placement of the WAPs, and configured the WAPs for optimal performance.
The installation of the new WAPs resulted in a significant improvement in connectivity throughout the warehouses and surrounding areas. Employees were able to access the network and systems with much greater reliability, and inventory management systems were able to function smoothly.
The client was very pleased with the results and reported that the new WAPs have exceeded their expectations. They were also impressed with our professional and efficient service throughout the project.
