With a network consisting of over 70 devices, including seven physical servers, in excess of 20 virtual servers, and several secure virtual private networks, Cogent required a team to take over their IT infrastructure management.

Our Solution
Syntec recommended a core network infrastructure upgrade, replacing their aged routers with modern Cisco technology. Working with live business critical devices, Syntec managed the entire migration from old infrastructure to new – providing a seamless transition with minimal service interruption. Syntec liaised with Cogent’s customers IT departments directly, ensuring changes to existing virtual network tunnels were syncronised on both sides, re-establishing connectivity via the new core network equipment.
On-going service management, acting as Cogent’s own IT department and the technical contact for Cogent’s customers.
